Bio:

 

I am happy to report that I have been a teacher for 14  years. My life as an educator began at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.  My partner, Gianna, and I moved out to sunny California after teaching for a few years in  Philadelphia.  I spent the next several years teaching in East Oakland where I trained with Expeditionary Learning and discovered the fine art of project-based lesson design while collaborating with some of the greatest teachers I have known. 

 

I am currently teaching first grade at Katherine Finchy Elementary with a staff of amazing educators, supportive families, and wonderful children who all come to school eager to learn and share.  Life is good, indeed!
